PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix charities

About the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP) began in 1982 as a grassroots idea sparked during a carpool and brought to life in a Shadyside garage. What started as a dream to race through the streets of Schenley Park quickly evolved into a city-wide celebration of cars, community, and charity.
Founded by a passionate group of racers, volunteers, and advocates, including Myron Cope of WTAE and leaders from the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School, the PVGP became the first vintage race of its kind staged on public streets. Over the years, the event has grown into a nationally recognized tradition, known for its high-energy races, vibrant car culture, and annual poster artwork donated by renowned artists. Today, the PVGP raises funds to support individuals with autism and developmental disabilities across the Pittsburgh region.

Dancing with the Cars is a fundraising event hosted by the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers’ Foundation. All proceeds benefit the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix charities. Thank you for your support.
